Our Techniques

“After a snowboarding accident, I became a patient myself of Meadows Family Chiropractic. Being a patient and going through the phases of care gave me a deeper appreciation for the pain our patients experience and the steps we take to care for them and get them the relief they need.” -Dr. Leah Meadows

Classic Techniques, Cutting Edge Technology

At Meadows Family Chiropractic we’re focused on seeing our patients get quick relief from their pain by using highly effective adjusting techniques. By combing traditional chiropractic care with cutting edge technology, we’re able to deliver an exceptional level of service and help improve the health and function of our patients.

We offer everything from computerized adjusting instruments, hand-held adjusting equipment and manual adjusting techniques. Depending on your condition and the findings of your exam, we’ll explain the technique that we believe will meet your specific needs to help relieve your pain and maintain optimal health.

The primary techniques we use are:

Clinical Biomechanics of Posture®: We use this technique for corrective care. The primary goal is to produce optimal posture and spinal alignment.

After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints.

A computerized adjusting instrument used to analyze and adjust your spine. This is a comfortable technique with no popping sound. We’ll use this technique on patients with disc degeneration or conditions that don’t allow for manual adjustments.

Thompson Drop Table

Thompson Terminal Point technique is a system of analysis and a special table that reduces the amount of energy needed to adjust your spine.

Torque Release

With a gentle touch and a light thrusting by hand or an instrument called an Integrator, the brain/body connection is enhanced.

By releasing the stress on a pregnant woman’s pelvis, the uterus and surrounding ligaments relax, permitting the baby to turn naturally.
